Paula Mathiasen, L.C.P.C

Paula is passionate about helping people get unstuck. You are worth it and have unique strengths and purpose! Her professional interest and clinical experience includes anxiety, depression, addictions, anger, communication issues, marital restoration and healing, premarital, and healing from past hurts. Additional specialty areas include spiritual and career guidance and sports coaching. She treats from a holistic perspective - physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Paula works with individuals, couples, and groups. Her goal is to help people develop healthy skills to manage life. Her desire is to bring hope, guidance, and be a safe place for you to process and find solutions to your challenges.

Paula received her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Trinity International University and her Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. She is certified and trained in PREPARE premarital assessments.

Rebecca Adamowski, L.C.P.C

Rebecca has experience working with many populations including, adolescents, court-mandated individuals, families and groups. She has clinical experience in agency settings, therapeutic schools, community centers and private practice. Rebecca’s professional interests and experience include issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, anger control, stress, self-esteem, communication, relationship issues and grief and loss.

Rebecca utilizes tools and theoretical approaches that are tailored for each individual. She desires to help clients develop new skills, which they can put into practice when faced with interpersonal struggles. Rebecca enjoys helping individuals identify their strengths to use towards solutions and change. She values creating a non-judgmental and supportive environment.

Rebecca received her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Elmhurst College. She has specialized training in areas of trauma and anger.
